Hails Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Community And Social Development Program In The Community.

Says Prof Odimayo Remains The First State Government Functionary To Visit The Community In Ages.

The leadership of Idogun Temenu, a community under irele local government has paid a thank you visit to the Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on health, Prof Simidele Odimayo for his relentless effort in lifting the community out of the age-long neglect, appreciated the Governor for the ongoing projects in the community.

The delegation led by Chief Islaman Bamidele, who represented the Baale of the community and the Hon Ladi Temenu, the immediate past secretary to Irele local government said the community is elated to see the realization of the promise made by Prof during his visit to the community last year and the reception of cheque for another community development project, design to lift the community out of decadence and age-long neglects.

Speaking on the behalf of the Baale, Mr Islaman Bamidele hailed Gov. lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s doggedness, dedication and commitment to make life beautiful for the residents of the state and particularly the rural dwellers, making health affordable for common men across the state.

He recalled how the entire idogun Temenu community were elated to receive an astute professor of medicine in an abandoned community like Idogun who unequivocally relay the message of Mr Governor to them, raise the hope of both young and old of the readiness of the Ondo State Governor to bring help their way. “Today, we are here to say thank you to the Governor for remembering us.”

Additionally, the former secretary to Irele local government Hon. Ladi Temenu said the entire community has sent thank you to Mr. Governor for the ongoing renovation and revitalization of Idogun Temenu community health center and the presentation of the cheque of over the twelve-million-naira Idogun Community and social development project. 

In a statement corroborated by Mrs Adewunmi Victoria, Bar. Cyril said the leadership style of prof Simidele Odimayo ought to be a course in the university on it own as he has constantly demonstrated resilience and selflessness. “Prof Sir, I have been studying you since your days in Benue State, when I was in Adamawa for my first degree and discovered that your type is rare. I want to say that you had options not to ensure the actualization of this project or divert it for personal gain, but you did not. Our people talked about your composure and countenances the day you came to the community and the promise you made and we are indeed very glad that you are representing us well, thank you sir!”

In his reaction, Prof Odimayo thanked the Governor for yielding to the demand, emphasizing commitment to ensuring the realization of the OUR EASE agenda, stating that the community at completion of the ongoing health center project, which is expected to include renovation and revitalization of the entire facility, erection of borehole, installation of solar and fencing, the community must pay keen attention to ensuring that it is maintained, prevent undue damage through personalization.
