POLICE INVITES SOWORE, DEMANDS SEEKING303 OVER WORDS AGAINST PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE'S OF RCCG.
PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE OF RCCG RENEWS PROSECUTION OF SEEKING303 AS POLICE INVITES SOWORE.
The Nigeria Police Force at the Force Intelligence Department (FID) has invited Omoyele Sowore, demanded that he report with Olumide Ogunsanwo, aka @seaking303, on Monday, April 14th, 2025, over his video on PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE of The Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG).
In an invitation sent to Omoyele Sowore by the Nigeria Police Force, FID, and made available to public through his social media handle, Sowore queried why Pastor E A Adeboye has decided to pursue case with the young man even as he is a renowned man who preaches to the people.
He frown at why the young man is been hunted by both a supposed man of God using the Nigeria Police Force.
"While I find this despicable that they keep harassing this young man, I have responded to them that I will be around in about a week in person with @seaking303 I know the reasonnyheu want to persecute him further is because he has refused to bow to their devices.
Sowore who constantly lament why the Nigeria Police allows themselves to be used by the so called big men in Nigeria to oppress indigent and innocent citizens even when they know that their own future is not guaranteed in the same country after retirement. He noted that very soon, the police station across will not be able to accommodate detainees as Nigerians are already pushed to the wall.
"One day, every one of us will be at the police FHQ in massive numbers never seen before; one day, everybody will stand up to the brutes in our country and say enough is enough!"
Meanwhile, Omoyele Sowore has replied the police, notifying them of the reception of the invitation to produce Seeking on Monday, saying the April 14th invitation hit the rock as he is already engaged, yet promised to appear before then at a later day.
"I have received your request; however, due to a family bereavement, I regret that I will be unable to accompany Mr. Olumide Ogunsanwo on April 14th, 2025. Instead, I will accompany Olumide on April 21st, 2025."
Hence, Sowore has attributed the new invitation to produce Seeking to the resilience of the young man in sustaining his undented efforts at nailing men of ranks who refuses to speak up against what he called marginalization and impunity going on in Nigeria.
"Nevertheless, I am appalled that this young Nigerian continues to be persecuted by the Nigeria Police Force in violation of his freedom of speech."
