Gov. Aiyedatiwa Presents Brand New Operational Vehicles To ODHCMA.

The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa has presented two brand new operational vehicles to the State's Drugs and Health Commodities Management Agency, ODHCMA to bolster its activities, today, 19th June 2025, fulfilled the promise of giving two Hillux Utility Vehicles to the Ondo State Drug Management Agency to aide service delivery.

Speaking during the presentation, Gov Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa reiterated his dedication to re-write history in the health sector, revitalize and revamp the sector thereby making it the envy of other states in the interest of the good people of the state.

"Let me make it known to everyone that our administration prioritizes quality and affordable healthcare". This was reaffirmed  during the celebrations of the one hundred days in office and commissioning of the drug house, expressed astute determination to fortify the agency.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Prof. Simidele Odmayo, while receiving the agency's ES and his team after taking the delivery of the vehicles, eulogised Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his fantastic performance and passion to see everyone healthy in the state. He noted that the governor  understands the importance of a healthy populace.

He extolled the Governor for his relentless commitment and unwavering efforts in rejuvenating the health sector, and particularly the ODHCMA, saying the operational vehicles will help to bolster the agency's performances, aide quick delivery of drugs to health facilities across the state thereby ending ending the age-long logistics bottlenecks.

Prof Odimayo, however, charged the agency through the ES, Pharm Amos Ayegbusi on commitment and dedication to duties, urging the agency to shun every act of negligence and undue levity to work. "The only way to show our appreciation to Mr. Governor is to ensure adequate cooperation in carrying out duties, shunning lackadaisical attitude and fostering a teamwork in order to actualize the "OUR EASE" agenda.

In his statement, the Executive Secretary, Pharm Amos Ayegbusi appreciated the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for relentless commitment, undying determination to take the health sector to an enviable height, saying availability of operational vehicles has slowed down the pace of progress of the agency for quite a while, pledged his teams unequivocal decision to ensure works are done efficiently.
