Hon Adewale Akintimehin, former Irele council chairman and APC Ondo South senatorial district chairman has extended his warmest congratulations to the executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr Adelami Olaide on their first 100 days in office, hailed the Landslide Achievements across the state.


Hon Akintimehin said the milestone achievement of the Aiyedatiwa led Ondo State Government marks a significant era of progress, characterized by peaceful coexistence among the residents of the state.


"This milestone marks a significant period of progress, development, and peaceful coexistence, thus, thrilled to acknowledge the Governor’s efforts in transforming our great state."


He mentioned some key achievements of the Governor which testified to His commitment, dedication and readiness to improve the  state’s infrastructure,  evident in the commissioning of the rehabilitated Stadium/Hospital Road in Ondo City, a critical lifeline connecting communities to essential healthcare services.


The upgrade of 102 primary health centers, construction of insurance house and upgrade of the state specialist hospital eye center in Okitipupa, Gani Fawehinmi diagnostic center, and most heartwarming, the victoria in bringing Federal Teaching Hospital to Akure. All these showcases the Governor’s relentlessness in improving access to basic healthcare, enhancing the quality of life for Ondo State residents.


"The recent employment of about 2,200 teachers for both primary and secondary schools in the state is a step in the best direction to bolster the education sector, forward leap and resuscitate the dying academics, addressing manpower shortage and competence in the teaching sector."


The flag off of the dualisation of Okitipupa -Igbokoda road is commendable. This evidently depict high level of interest in developing the age-long abandoned part of Ondo state. Without exaggeration, Ondo South has been long marginalized, resulted to constant agitation without results. I am confidence that after a while, normalcy in transporting goods to the city will return. The entire Ikale, Ilaje, Apoi and Ijaw will forever be grateful. 


His leadership style, characterized by inclusivity and a deep understanding of difficulties and complexities in governance, is a testament to his vision for a better tomorrow and I have no doubt that as you continue in piloting the state's affairs, more outstanding achievements are on the horizon, Hon Akintimehin affirmed.


"I commend the Governor for his tireless efforts and commitment to public service,  expressed readiness to work together to build a brighter future for Ondo State."


He once again congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa, wished him strength and fortitude to navigate the state to an enviable height.

 PRESS STATEMENT. DISSOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ONDO STATE FOOTBALL AGENCY. The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the dissolution of the management board of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA). With this dissolution, the Executive Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dele Ologun, and other members have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect and directed to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officer of the agency.
