World Multiple Sclerosis Day: Need For Global Awareness & Advocacy.

May 30th is a day set aside every year to create awareness and sensitization globally on Multiple Sclerosis (MS), it's impact on individuals and families, promote understanding and acceptance, support research and advocacy as well as encourage inclusivity and accessibility.
"Sclerosis is a chronic and often disabling disease affecting the central nervous system. This disease affects millions of people worldwide."
"We recognize the importance of supporting individuals living with MS, their families, and caregivers. Ondo state under the leadership of His Excellency Gov Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is committed to improving healthcare services, including access to diagnosis, treatment, and care for people with MS."
"We acknowledge the challenges faced by those living with MS, including managing symptoms, accessing treatment, and maintaining quality of life. Our healthcare system is working to address these challenges through increased awareness, education, and support."
It is important that everyone learns more about MS, its symptoms, and impact on individuals and their families. By working together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for those affected.
He encouraged those living with the disease of the commitment of Ondo state government to providing the best possible care and support. "Our robust health sector will continue to work towards improving healthcare services and promoting awareness about this condition."
Let's stand together in solidarity with the MS community and work towards a future where everyone has access to quality healthcare and the opportunity to live a fulfilling life.
Ceasing this medium to highlight some Symptoms Of Multiple Sclerosis which includes
1. Vision problems:: Blurred vision, double vision, loss of vision in one eye, or pain when moving the eyes
2. Muscle weakness or spasms. Weaknesses in the arms or legs, stiffness, or spasms
3. Balance and coordination problems. Difficulty with balance, coordination, or walking
4. Fatigue. Feeling extremely tired or exhausted
5. Cognitive difficulties. Problems with memory, concentration, or processing information
6. Bladder and bowel problems. Urinary frequency, urgency, or constipation
7. Sensory problems. Numbness, tingling,or pain in the skin
8. Tremors or difficulty with movement or clumsiness
