Ondo Govt In Collaboration Westallic Medical Hub Concludes Arrangements On The Installation Of Ct Scan.

As part of efforts to achieve an improved diagnostic accuracy, the Ondo State Government in partnership with the Westalic medical hub has finalized arrangements on the installation of CT SCAN at the UNIMEDTH Laje, Ondo, Ondo state.

The arrangement that was initially to install the scanner in the UNIMEDTH Akure has now been relocated to the Laje complex. This decision stems from the magnanimity of the Ondo State Government to cede the UNIMEDTH, Akure complex to FUTA for its teaching hospital.

Speaking at the extraordinary meeting with Gov Lucky Aiyedatiwa ably represented by his Special Adviser on Health, Prof Simidele Odimayo highlighted the need for partnership in this regard, succinctly to implement the model of handling and maintenance culture as well as accountability which is explicitly very core in private practice.

"These lofty efforts are in line with the spirited desires of the executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to take the health sector, exceptionally hospital practice, to an enviable height, repositioning the hospital for a wider range of diagnostic services, leading to better patients outcomes in line with OUR EASE agenda."

This precious machine, CT scans, provides more detailed images than conventional x-rays, allowing for a more accurate assessment of internal structures, and relatively quick, making them ideal for emergency situations and rapid diagnosis."

It is an imperatively versatile medical equipment that can be used to image various parts of the body, making them a versatile tool for diagnosis and treatment.

Reiterating the commitment of Gov Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in prioritizing the health and wellness of the good people of Ondo State, Prof Odimayo emphasizes the unalloyed readiness of Mr Governor in making Ondo state the pacesetter in healthcare delivery.

When the machine is fully installed and commissioned, it will provide 24 hours of diagnostics services, easing the process of ascertaining injuries, and providing specific and quick directions, making the medical assistant seamless, Prof Odimayo noted.

The CEO, who led other stakeholders of the Westalic medical hub, expressed deepest appreciation to the Governor for such interesting opportunity to be considered for the collaborations, in the interest of the good people of the state, pledged their unflinching support for the state government in actualizing an efficient and better healthcare delivery.
