Gov. Emphasizes Commitment towards Eradicating HIV/AIDS

GOVERNOR AYEDATIWA EMPHASIZES COMMITMENT TOWARDS ERADICATING HIV/AIDS AT STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKSHOP



The Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Dr Lucky Ayedatiwa has pledge the support of his administration towards eradicating the perennial menace of HIV/AIDS in Ondo State, nay Nigeria as whole. 


The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Health, Prof Simidele Odimayo who represented the Ondo State Governor at the 3- Day Non-residential Sensitization and Technical Workshop and meeting of Stakeholders on the Development of Ondo State HIV/AIDS Strategic Plan (SSP 2025-2027) held on Monday at the Heritage Continental Hotel, Ijapo, Akure, Ondo State has copiously expostulated the means towards putting an end to the HIV/AIDS' scourge.

     In his speech, Governor Ayedatiwa avows that the state is ready to become a shining example to stamp out the scourge of HIV/AIDS by 2030 as projected by the United Nations. "A world free  of troubles and epidemic is achievable and we are up to the the task" The governor of submitted.


      In his remarks, the director of the Ondo State Action Committee on AIDS, ODSACA, Dr. A. Adegbulu commended the infectious optimism of the state government. He believes greatly the SSP Development processes will yield bountiful fruits.

 PRESS STATEMENT. DISSOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ONDO STATE FOOTBALL AGENCY. The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the dissolution of the management board of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA). With this dissolution, the Executive Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dele Ologun, and other members have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect and directed to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officer of the agency.
